But less likely to make headlines was the death of the driver of the car, Walker's friend for nearly a decade, Roger Rodas, who became Walker's formal business partner and financial advisor in 2007. It’s hard not to feel a bit let down by the Subaru BRZ. Perhaps the quote attributed to Subaru that the BRZ would get ‘less than 300bhp’ was lost in translation, but the fact the BRZ comes with just three horses more than its cousin the Toyota FT-86 just leaves a feeling of disappointment.
