This is out of my new 2013 Mini Cooper Coupe. I like the feel of a smaller shift knob, so I replaced this OEM part. Still in new condition. Black leather with chrome ring.
On Sep-23-13 at 14:35:11 PDT, seller added the following information:I've had several people inquire if this will fit older model Mini's, the inner diameter of the nylon sleeve appears to be 13-15mm. The bottom edge is 15mm, but inside the knob it appears a bit smaller. The top it slotted male to match the female slot on the shaft.

Street View not good enough for Google's self-driver

Not only does the company have the necessary funds for such an undertaking, it has the necessary data -- at least one would think. In a Wired article on Tuesday, Google said that even though it has mapped much of the world with Google Street View, those maps won't help its self-driving car.
SPD Workshop with Chris Bangle
Thu, 10 Jun 2010Famed designer Chris Bangle will be hosting a four-day workshop at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) in Milan, Italy this summer, following on from last year's successful workshop series. The university has announced that it will be holding the workshops from 9 July to 15 July, revolving around a theme entitled: 'An Endeavor in Discontinuity: Exterior Car Design of the Future'. The workshop is billed as a unique design experience, which will allow participants from all over the world to work in close contact with one of the most innovative designers of the current scene.
