This auction is for the engine from a very nice 2007 Honda CR85R.  It has been well maintained and makes good compression.  The engine does have a minor vibration that can be noticed at high RPM.  It is very much on par for a CR85, as most have a similar vibration, but the rod bearings may need to be replaced in the near future.  The bike test rode nicely with me (185 lbs) on the seat.  No off idle bog and the clutch preformed 100% during hard acceleration on pavement.  No leaks.  No chain rub at the sprocket.  The right side case is damaged at the pivot as shown in the last pic.  It just cosmetic and will not affect anything.  The stator/flywheel are not included but are in a separate auction as of 5/6.  The carburetor and exhaust are also available.  Call for additional details!

All parts have been power washed, washed by hand, or degreased in a parts cleaner.  I do not send out dirty, oily messes.  This also gives me the opportunity to inspect the items closely to check for damage or wear.

It looks like the baby Boxster - the Porsche BlueSport - is in the planning. Last year it was a case of ‘Spot the BlueSport’ as rumours ran wild over which parts of the VW Group (what happened to re-naming it Auto Union – another of last year’s rumours?) would run with the ‘Baby Roadster’ platform VW had developed. Well it finally looks as if the rumours are starting to become substance.
