Thu, 19 Sep 2013-- Today's vehicles are more than capable of safely exceeding the speed limit. This isn't any secret to us, but apparently lawmakers are just starting to clue in; Utah has joined a slowly increasing number of states in raising some speed limits to 80 mph. Their justification?

Fri, 02 Dec 2011Remote-controlled cars have a come a long way since the double-A-battery-powered, open-wheeled, plastic-chassis cars of the past. So far along, in fact, that today's high-quality cars don't do 50 mph, 60 mph or 70 mph. The new Traxxas XO-1 does a neck-snapping 100 mph.
July 14: Figuring out range
Wed, 14 Jul 2010Topping off the tank seems to work best. By keeping it full I get a lot more freedom and a lot less range anxiety. Today I drove up to Pasadena twice, down to Los Angeles, west to Santa Monica and all the way back to my office in LA.
