Sun, 04 Sep 2011Citroen Tubik Concept - Frankfurt-bound The Citroen Tubik is a slightly bonkers concept from Citroen that’s heading to the Frankfurt Motor Show in a week or so. But it does have possibilities as a production car. Looking like a modern take on a Citroen H Van (the cheap and cheerful, do anything, post-war lugging machine) the Tubik is Citroen’s idea of what a high-tech executive shuttle should be.

Mon, 01 Jul 2013The Alfa Romeo 4C (pictured) out on track – on video The Alfa Romeo 4C has been on its way for longer than it should have been. But Alfa Romeo finally got round to revealing the 4C in prodiction spec at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and visitors to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month will get to see the 4C strutting its stuff up the hillclimb. But ahead of that dynamic debut, Alfa has released new video of the 4C out playing on the Balocco Racetrack in Italy, with a few wailing exhausts notes but far to much dramatic music as a soundtrack.
‘Fire up the Quattro!’ – Gene Hunt’s Audi for sale
Mon, 10 Feb 2014IT WAS the only thing that could rival tough-talking DCI Gene Hunt for on-screen presence – and now the famous red Audi Quattro is up for sale. The hit TV show Ashes to Ashes saw Philip Glennister reprise his role as Hunt opposite Keeley Hawes as Alex Drake, but for many it was the iconic 1981 Audi that stole the show. This particular example was bought by a prop supply company for the second and third series of Ashes to Ashes, and featured in all sixteen episodes before meeting a spectacular end by being riddled with bullet holes.
