I bought these from an expert on vintage racing wheels back in 1999. He told me that they were rare promotional parts. While there are some out there that look similar, I've searched for "American+Racing"+"flush-mount"+"valve+stems" and haven't seen any that are just like these.
These have never been installed and have no rust or damage. If anyone reading this knows anything more about them, please let me know so I can make this description more accurate. Illustrating that environmental responsibility needn't come at the expense of design, power or desire, three students created their individual vision of a "Green Steel" concept car, resulting in the Lincoln Continental, Mazda Hyoryu and Mitsubishi Synthesis. Considering the current energy and environmental global crisis, the students involved in this project took the opportunity to re-think mobility for the year 2040 by developing innovative adaptations for automobiles and proposing a more humanistic approach to transportation. Mitsubishi Synthesis Dave Owsen This automated 'travelling entertainment center of the future' bridges the gap between public and personal transportation. Utilizing the city traffic tier of the transportation network for navigation, the vehicle also creates a brand media experience for young urban commuters, combining elements of transportation and entertainment.
Brits would rather drive than walk
Wed, 25 Jun 2014ALMOST HALF (47%) of all people in the UK would rather drive than walk for a journey of up to one mile and 48% drive to work instead of trying to use any other form of transport. Despite a one mile journey taking very little more time to walk than drive, only 38% of drivers said they would use their feet in place of the car for such short journeys. Even though short journeys cause the most pollution and damage to cars, half said they would still drive.
