2013 Astra Convertible spied on video – The new Vauxhall Calibra / Opel Manta?Sun, 02 Oct 2011
2013 Astra Convertible Spy Vauxhall and Opel have now managed to reveal much of the new Astra Model range – with the Astra GTC debuting at Frankfurt last month being the latest – but there’s still the drop-top Astra Convertible to come. The 2013 Astra Convertible – which may arrive as the new Vauxhall Calibra – has been caught on video testing ahead of an expected debut at Paris in 2012, before going on sale across Europe in 2013. Looking very much like the GTC with a cloth top, the new Astra Convertible loses the tin-top of the old model and gets a folding canvas top in the name of economy, lightness and dynamics.
McLaren MP4-12C by Mansory heading for Geneva 2012Fri, 02 Mar 2012
The Mansory take on the McLaren MP4-12C German tuners Mansory are heading to the Geneva Motor Show with their take on the MP4-12C – the Mansory McLaren MP4-12C. After all, Mansory are as capable of destroying a car (like the Mansory Rolls Royce Ghost) as they are of enhancing it (like the Mansory Aston Martin DB9).
Mini Crossover at the Paris motor show 2008Thu, 02 Oct 2008
By Ben Barry Motor Shows 02 October 2008 15:46 We’ve already seen it in the November 2008 issue of CAR, but Paris marked the motor show debut of the Mini Crossover Concept – a pumped-up four-wheel drive Mini that goes on sale in 2009. As journalists crammed together in what looked like a trendy nightclub, a video of two Chemical Brother-style hipsters driving the Crossover through a warehouse played behind the covered over concept before – ta-da! – some heavily tattooed type swung down from the rafters to remove the covers and reveal the actual pair inside the actual car.
