All machine work is done on up to date HAAS CNC Machines. We have attached an explanation of each of the process's we offer below - New Lugnut Holes - If your wheel has room to drill another set of holes, you can use this process. - Conical Inserting involves relocating the lugnut hole via a specialty tool bit and then pressing in a over-sized metal sleeve into the hole. It relocates the hole perfectly for a factory look. Can be used to repair existing lugnut holes as well if they are damaged. - Centerbore (Hub-Bore) enlarging is to make the center hole on the wheel bigger to clear the hub snout on the car or for any other interference problems - Shaving the pad height involves us properly milling the back of the wheel to solve fender clearance issues of small gaps. On some wheels when done with Conical Inserting, we can remove about 7mm off. Shipping 1) The shipping costs below represent just the shipping back to you once the wheels are done. You are responsible for getting the wheels to us. If you want us to send you UPS Call Tags to pick the wheels up we can gladly do so. The cost would be the same as the shipping charges to send the wheels to you. 2) If you are local, you are more than welcome to come to our facility and drop the wheels off and pick them up when they are done. Salon Privé 2010: Hypercar Heaven – including Panther Six
Wed, 16 Jun 2010The Panther Six - six-wheeled Hypercar - makes an appearance at Salon Prive It’s getting closer to Salon Privé 2010, that annual festival of all things ‘Super’ in cars at the Hurlingham Club, and this year there’s an extra reason to toddle along for a day of petrol and Champagne – The Concours Hypercar Class. Salon Privé has cobbled together an impressive array of Hypercars for a special ‘Hypercar Concours’ at this year’s event, including the rather spectacular ‘Lady Penelope-Style’ Panther Six. The Panther Six is a six wheeled, 1970s creation with a mid-mounted, 8.2 litre Cadillac V8 and a claimed 200+ mph top speed.
Caterham Supersport R extends Caterham 7 range
Sat, 10 Nov 2012Caterham has added the Supersport R to its range of ’7′ models with a 2.0 litre Duratec Ford engine delivering 180bhp. In the meantime, Caterham’s core road car business is the old Lotus 7 range of Caterhams, so it makes sense to keep that more appealing and relevant until new cars start to arrive, so we get the Caterham Supersport R as an addition to the range to slot in between the Supersport and the Superlight models. The Supersport R gets a Ford Duratec 2.0 litre engine which produces 180bhp, which doesn’t sound a huge amount, but when you consider the Supersport R weighs in at just 535kg it starts to look plenty.
