The T4 is built to SFI and FIA specifications. Craq Spun threads of fire resistant Nomex are used throughout the shoes. The heel design incorporates additional abrasion shielding and reinforcement, while engineered around the balance point of your foot in natural driving position. Airflow grooves are molded into the heel to maximize cooling, while the abrasion resistant 3-D Carbone leather provides support, comfort and durability. Additional features include: Nomex cord laces with Kevlar cores, new recessed variable ending-point lacing system, interchangeable sock-liners and increased support around the ankle. Now the Goodwood Festival of Speed is over for another year, the next big petrolhead event is Salon Prive – which has been pushed back to September to avoid clashing with London 2012 – and Mate Rimac has announced his Rimac_One electric hypercar will be making its UK debut on the lawns of Syon Park. The Mitac_One, which was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year and conceived by precocious 24yr old Mate Rimac, is a technological tour de force for electric cars, offering four electric motors – one on each wheel – which can accelerate and decelerate independently to offer true four wheel vectoring and stunning handling.
Renault Alpine A110-50 to be developed with Caterham

Which is part of the reason Renault want a partner on-board to help with development and production of the Renault Alpine A110-50 – a new Alpine based on a Megane platform with a DeZir body – and turn it, hopefully, from a track concept to the first Alpine for the road in twenty years. It had been mooted that Renault were eyeing up Lotus to partner on the Alpine A110-50, but according to a report from Autocar they are instead working with Caterham to bring the A110-50 to life.
