E-8 V.5 D2 - Sundown Audio 8" 300W RMS Dual 2-Ohm EV.5 Series Subwoofer

Retail Price: $149.99

 Features & Specifications:

The third version of our acclaimed E series is all new for 2016. Since we introduced the first E series in 2012 we have sought to push the limits of entry-level woofers forward. Typical entry level woofers are highly limited in terms of linear excursion, mechanical ruggedness, and thermal performance – all of these bars have been raised once again for our third generation E series.

Thanks to our experience with 8” woofers dating back to 2008 the fourth generation E-8 offers levels of performance once reserved for significantly more expensive woofers. If you are looking for an 8" driver to perform great at lower wattages (200-300 watts) in ported boxes at a great price the E-8 v.4 is exactly what you are looking for and is unmatched in its price class.

The E-8 v.4 is built around the same motor and coil used on the larger E v.2 series woofers. These proven parts are mated up to a strong, high clearance stamped steel frame and competition grade soft parts. Each part of the driver has been hand selected & tested to give you the ultimate in budget bass reproduction from a tiny ported enclosure. The fourth generation E-8 is far-and-away the best performing E-8 we have ever released and one of the best 8” woofers money can buy.

Cars & Coffee: Two ingredients to start off your SoCal weekend just right

Sun, 09 Jan 2011

Cars & Coffee is not yet on the FDA's list of the four basic food groups--but it really should be. It started out as a word-of-mouth gathering of eclectic and cool cars at a spot called Crystal Cove just south of Newport Beach, Calif., but it quickly outgrew that home. “Some of the guys got together, just a spontaneous gathering of, ‘Well, let's bring our cool cars,' ” said Pebble Beach judge, Ferrari collector and well-loved Ford PR guy John Clinard, one of, if not the main driver behind the event.
