UNIVERSAL RADIATOR BREATHER AIR CATCH COOL

Made by Aluminum

·      Eliminate the air bubble from over heating

·      Idea for Track or Drift Car

·      Come with radiator cap

·      Fitting Kit Mounting bracket

The air-removal tank is in parallel with the radiator.

Once the thermostat opens, the hot coolant bypasses the radiator to pass through the tank, and is returned, hot, to the water pump inlet to re-enter the engine housing ports.

Its purpose is first to collect air/vapor in an upper, stagnant chamber.

Then by thermal expansion of the fluid and gas, it purges the collected air into the vented overflow bottle by way of a 3rd hose that ends in the bottle below the coolant level.

Air bubbles rise to the top and vent to the atmosphere. Upon cooling-contraction, coolant from the bottle is pulled back into the system.

The coolant that flows to the separation tank comes from the top of the thermostat housing, where a mini chamber is cast into the housing.

The entry into this chamber can be seen after removing the fill cap as a 10mm hole. The only chamber exit is the hose to the separation tank.

The purpose of the mini-chamber is to encourage any air that is passing below, from the open thermostat to the radiator, to rise up and be sent ( with coolant ) through the small bypass line to the separation tank.

· Professional Installation is Highly Recommended (No Instruction Included)

Audi planning their own version of the electric VW e-Up

Sat, 27 Apr 2013

Perhaps the most promising EVs from Audi so far have been the A2 EV (pictured above) and the A1 range extender with a small Wankel engine in the boot to charge the battery. But even they were dropped from Audi’s production plans last year. But now it seems Audi are back in the production EV game with plans to produce an Audi e-tron using the underpinnings of the electric VW e-Up, but with Audi styling and an upmarket Audi interior and high-end Infotainment.

Ginetta G60 revealed with a Mustang engine in the middle

Wed, 05 Oct 2011

Ginetta G60 Ginetta don’t have the biggest profile in the car world, but they’ve been around – on and off – for over 50 years. Based until the late ’80s up the road from us in Witham, Ginetta was bought by a bunch of enthusiasts, relocated to Yorkshire and seems to be doing alright after a change of ownership in 2007. Alright enough to reveal the Ginetta G60 this week, anyway.
