*ITEM: Here we have a Playbuoy pontoon for sale. It is in good shape. The carpet is dirty and needs a washing, but the floor is sturdy. The upholstery is not bad; it's a little mildew-ish, but should clean up! It has a captain's chair that is a flip/flop bench and two front loungers. The frame work and aluminum siding are okay, and there is a bimini top on board, too. It looks like the frame work my be bent, but it may be useable. The tubes are in fine shape and we are told that they do not leak. This boat does not come with a motor or a trailer. It does not have a sticker with the horsepower rating, either. This boat would make a nice lake raft, or you could rebuild it and use it on the lakes! She's a honey for the money! *SHIPPING: This item is for local pick up only. CDN–GM Interactive Design Competition winners announced at NAIAS
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The winners of the CDN–GM Interactive Design Competition have been announced at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. Following a guided tour of the auto show with the GM design team, the finalists gathered on the GMC stand in Cobo Hall where Mark Adams and Ken Parkinson – heads of design for Cadillac & Buick, and Chevrolet & GMC respectively – were joined by Car Design News' Editor Owen Ready to present the winners of each brand's competition brief. Joining them on stage were the mentors from GM's design teams who interacted with the entrants throughout the competition to critique and help develop their work, making this a truly unique contest.
