Longacre Racing 56605 Steering Wheel Quick-disconnects 3-bolt on 2040-parts.com
Wichita Falls, Texas, United States
Precision fit splined hub for better steering control Any play in the steering - including the hub - takes away control by the driver letting the car 'wander around'. This precision hub has a micro-finished spud and Hard Anodized splined hub for a super tight fit, yet is easy to remove and install. Plus, there are multiple sets of mounting holes so you can 'clock' your wheel 3 times closer. For safety there are 2 sets of retaining grooves. If you don't get the ring engaged it will catch on the second safety groove rather than come off on the track. The steel 'spuds' can be installed on both 3/4" and also 5/8" shafts.
Weight: .85 lbs. including bolts (WILL NOT FIT 290mm and 320mm flat suede wheels - PNs 56911 & 56913) |

Vauxhall Vectra renamed as Insignia
Mon, 03 Dec 2007By Motor Industry 03 December 2007 09:46 Vauxhall has renamed its Vectra replacement, and like we all thought, it's going to be called Insignia. According to Vauxhall the Insignia name represents 'a new name for a new era', and we'll see if Vauxhall is telling the truth when the covers come off the new car at the British Motor Show in July 2008. It's a big claim for Vauxhall, but the teaser shot (above right) shows that at least Vauxhall seems to have gotten the design of the Insignia right.

Aston Martin DBS twins emerge from barn
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Forgotten Aston Martins still turn up in barns and garages all over with world with some regularity, though rarely are they identical twins. This pair of DBS coupes emerged from more than a decade of storage in a barn just recently, and if it weren't for the license plates, we'd have trouble telling them apart. These two come from a large private collection, but both were tucked away after being acquired in largely original condition more than 10 years ago.
