Precision fit splined hub for better steering control

Any play in the steering - including the hub - takes away control by the driver letting the car 'wander around'. This precision hub has a micro-finished spud and Hard Anodized splined hub for a super tight fit, yet is easy to remove and install.

Plus, there are multiple sets of mounting holes so you can 'clock' your wheel 3 times closer.

For safety there are 2 sets of retaining grooves. If you don't get the ring engaged it will catch on the second safety groove rather than come off on the track.

The steel 'spuds' can be installed on both 3/4" and also 5/8" shafts.

  • Spline hub - pull ring release with double safety grooves
  • Welds to 3/4" or 5/8" steering shaft
  • Aluminum hub
  • 3 Mounting holes – 5/16" on a 1-3/4" bolt circle (hole distance 1-1/2" center-to-center)

Weight: .85 lbs. including bolts

(WILL NOT FIT 290mm and 320mm flat suede wheels - PNs 56911 & 56913)

Vauxhall Vectra renamed as Insignia

Mon, 03 Dec 2007

It's a big claim for Vauxhall, but the teaser shot (above right) shows that at least Vauxhall seems to have gotten the design of the Insignia right.

Aston Martin DBS twins emerge from barn

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

Forgotten Aston Martins still turn up in barns and garages all over with world with some regularity, though rarely are they identical twins. This pair of DBS coupes emerged from more than a decade of storage in a barn just recently, and if it weren't for the license plates, we'd have trouble telling them apart. These two come from a large private collection, but both were tucked away after being acquired in largely original condition more than 10 years ago.
